News, notes and nuggets from SB Nation's other NFC East websites.

With another busy week in the books, let's take a look at the NFC East to see what Big Blue's rivals are up to through our SB Nation NFL affiliates.

The Top Story Eagles attempting to trade for first overall pick?

According to multiple reports, the Philadelphia Eagles could be set to make a run at trading with the Tennessee Titans to secure the first overall selection in the 2016 NFL Draft. The Eagles could be competing with the Cleveland Browns, San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams in an effort to draft a quarterback, possibly either Carson Wentz or Jared Goff. The Eagles currently have Sam Bradford returning, as well as free agent signee Chase Daniel on the roster.

Eagles Headlines Just how good an executive is Howie Roseman?

After gaining personnel control once former head coach Chip Kelly was fired, Roseman has done an admirable job during the offseason. But, what does he have to do to continue to improve and continue turning around the ship for the Eagles?

Could Sterling Shepard land with the Eagles?

Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford is hosting tight end Zach Ertz and wide receiver Jordan Matthews on a trip to Bradford's home state of Oklahoma, where there happens to be a top receiver prospect at his alma mater. Matthews, who has been documenting the trip on Snapchat, posted a picture that he was working out with Sooners wideout Sterling Shepard, one of the top playmaking receivers in this year's NFL Draft. While Philadelphia has signed Chris Givens and ex-Giant Rueben Randle in free agency, drafting another isn't necessarily out of the question.

With the release of Terrence Knighton, and DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon impending free agents next year, the Redskins could fill multiple holes if that's how the draft selections turn out.

What kind of the depth do the Redskins have entering the new league year?

Hogs Haven takes a look at the backups of each position, and debates what position groups are strong, as well as which others could still be improved.

Cowboys Headlines What will the Cowboys do with Brandon Carr?

After the Cowboys were unable to sign cornerback Patrick Robinson, who signed with the Colts, questions are arising if Brandon Carr and his $13 million base salary will still be on the docket for Dallas next season. If the Cowboys decide to cut Carr, what other options are there in free agency? Blogging the Boys takes a look at that.

Why did Cedric Thornton join Dallas?

Apparently, to win a Super Bowl championship. But, he also believes that facing the dominant Dallas offensive line will help him improve as a player.
