Cricketer Mohammad Kaif Trolled On Twitter For Doing Surya Namaskar

Despite the criticism, Mohammad Kaif refused to back down. © AFP

Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif became the latest target of Twitter trolls after he posted photos of himself doing the Surya Namaskar.

Kaif, who often shares health and fitness tips on the social micro-blogging site, endorsed the yoga pose as a complete workout for the physical system.

However, this tweet of the 36-year-old clearly didn't go down well with some of his fans and followers, who accused him of defying the traditions of Islam.

"Surya namashkar is adverse our culture society and traditions of islam.why are you posting a controversial statement."

"surya namaskar is 100% prohibited in islam we cant down our before anyone except allah its requirement of iman bro"

"kabi namaaz padne ki pics lagaai ?? (Have you ever uploaded a picture of yourself reading the namaaz)"

Despite the criticism, the former India U-19 captain refused to back down and informed his detractors that a physical exercise had nothing to do with religion.

Not so long ago, pacer Mohammed Shami was attacked by people with a similar mindset over a Facebook photo of his wife Hasin Jahan and his daughter.

The 26-year-old was viciously trolled, with some even abusing him for the the outfit of his wife. Shami was reminded of his religion, with some even asking why Hasin Jahan was not wearing a hijab.

At the time, Kaif was one of the first public personalities to come out in support of Shami.

How to Get Paid For Blogging

make money blogging How to Make Money, Reach Your Dreams and Find Freedom with Your Blog Now is the Time to Take Control of Your Financial Future.

Got debt? Hate your job?

Perhaps both are stealing your peace of mind…a low paying job combined with a strong "I'm taken-for-granted" vibe in the office is enough to make your life a drag (and restful sleep a distant memory.) Sadly, this is how many people spend their entire working years—groping through a cubicle maze, searching for some sort of escape.

You deserve better.

or the daily drudgery of a miserable, dead end career. This could be the escape you have been searching for. No matter what your background is, you can start a blog today. Anyone can do it.

No need to quit your job to start. Just begin laying the groundwork for a more prosperous future in your spare time. Would an extra $500 a month change your financial future? That is definitely possible. In fact, you could earn a lot more per month as a blogger. Once you are in a position to commit full-time to your blog, you can rise up to the $5000 per month income level. That and much more is also possible. Being your own boss means you get to choose your salary.

The amount of time and resources you commit to your blog will determine how much money you make.

Picture this: One day, your successful blog enables you to hand your boss a resignation letter. Can you visualize the look on her face?

The key to accomplishing that goal is to follow a trail of tips from someone who already happens to be a full time, successful blogger. That's where I come in. 🙂

If you haven't setup your blog yet, click here to Step 1 of my "dummy proof" guide and start the process. You will have your new blog live in 20 minutes or less. As an official blogger, you can then come back here and read more about building a blog that brings in extra income.

Why wait? The quickest way to learn how to earn income with a blog is to start blogging. Take control of your financial future by building your own blog today. Ready to build something for YOUR future? [Build Your Blog Now]

Once your blog is up and running, here is a tool you can use right away to generate online income.

Getting paid from your blog can happen in a myriad of ways. Since you are just getting started, let's focus on one simple monetization technique that's easy to use. This tool is not complicated. Keep reading if you want to make money blogging right away. Okay, let me introduce you to Google Adsense…

Run Ads on Your Blog

Now, don't freak out here. Running ads is the most common way people earn income from blogs. Bloggers who have ads on their site get paid every time someone clicks on these ads. So don't worry, ads on your blog are pretty simple to set up.

How Do You Set Up Ads on Your Blog?

Having ads on your blog doesn't mean you have to spend time looking for advertisers. You can pick one of many programs out there that do all the leg work for you. The service for placing ads on a blog that I recommend is called Google Adsense. Even if you are new to blogging, you probably know that Google is a huge internet company that spans the globe. They have connections with possibly millions of advertisers. With Google Adsense, you get access to all the Google relationships they've made with adveritisers—enabling you to place ads from these corporate connections on your blog. In a matter of minutes, you will start to receive a portion of the commissions these advertisers make when people click on the ads.

Google Adsense is simple to set up and 100% FREE. Google Adsense Logo

You will want to start with Google Adsense because it's quick and easy to use. But keep in mind that as your blog audience multiplies, your options to using ads for income will get even better. Shoot for three hundred thousand visitors per month to your blog. (Great content will help you get there.) You'll get excited about your options after that. But for now, Google Adsense is a great starting point.

How Does Google Adsense Pay You?

You have two ways to get paid. Getting a check in the mail is one option. Or, they can directly deposit your earnings straight to your bank account. Direct deposit is always the easiest and quickest way to go. The deposit comes in at the end of every month.

How You Can Give Yourself a Raise with Google Adsense

Earning a higher income is pretty simple…just get more traffic to your blog. Somewhere between 1-10% of your blog visitors will click an ad. This varies according to the blog topic, but whatever your blog is about, you will see over time how consistent this plays out. Every month. For example, consider your earnings if 3% of your blog visitors click an ad. At 3%, if you have 20,000 visitors in a month, you will generate 600 clicks. Now suppose your blog audience grew to 100,000 visitors per month, you would generate 3,000 clicks. See how this works? If you are diligent in building your blog audience, your income from ads will increase exponentially. The time taken to build up traffic provides huge amounts of satisfaction in the long run.

What Pay Rate Does Google Adsense Offer?

Again, your blog topic will play a major part in the return you receive per click. Google Adsense has paid out rates of $0.05 per click all the way up to $20 per click and beyond. For new bloggers starting out, you are probably going to earn $0.20 to $0.50 per click. Using Google Adsense is pretty much a numbers game…but that's true with all advertising to some degree. Filling your blog with great content will definitely put the odds more in your favor. I've seen this with my blogs. And since creating great content is my specialty, you will definitely want to read the lessons I provide on how to produce great content.

Here's a Simple Visual Guide on How to Apply for Google AdSense

Step 1: First you want to go here and then click the red button that says Get Started Now.

Google Adsense Get Started Now

Step 2: Next, if you do not have a Google account, click the Create a New Account. If you do have a Google account, just click Yes, then proceed to Google Account sign in.

Google Adsense Yes Proceed to Sign In

Step 3: Type in the domain of the website you want to use with Google AdSense in the "I will show ads on" box. Then put in the language of your website. Review the Terms and Conditions and click Continue.

Google Adsense Tell Us About Ur Content

Step 4: Fill in your AdSense application and click the blue button Submit my application.

Google Adsense Submit Your Application

Step 5: You're finished when you see the "Thank you for applying to AdSense!" You can check out a few tutorials here to teach you more about Google AdSense if you need it.

You have submitted your application and Google will let you know whether your website is approved or not. This approval process didn't take long for me here. I received the approval email from Google in a couple of hours.

Google Adsense Thanks For Applying

The approval email you get looks like this:

Get Started with Google AdSense

When you click "Get started now" in the email, you will first see a terms of service to review and accept. Then you will see this below. Notice that it tells me in the red bar that my domain is still under review. So what you do here is proceed to your WordPress blog and place the code in your website. Google tells you here that the ads will be blank until your blog is fully approved. So click "Get started now" to continue…

 Google Adsense Getting Started

After clicking "Get started now," I found the navigation to finding my ad codes to be a bit tricky. If you find it challenging to locate your needed ad codes at this point, simply type in the URL I've pointed out below to get to where you want to go. You will then want to click the blue button "Create your first ad unit now!"

Google Adsense Implement your ad units

Here is where you set up your ad(s). You select the style of the ad and then click "Save and Get Code."

Google Adsense Create My Ads

You should then see a box like this that contains the ad code you will place into your website.

Google Adsense Ad Code Created

Once you copy the code with your pointer, sign into your WordPress Dashboard and place the code where you want the ad to go. In this example below, I'm placing the code atop my "Services" page. Notice how the code is being placed in the "Text" tab located in the upper right corner of the Page Editor. That's where you find any code, like for an infographic or for an embedded link. Once the coding is in, simply click "Update" and your ads will be done.

Google Adsense Place Code into Website

You will then need to wait for Google to give you the final approval. Until that happens, visitors to your website will not see the ads at all. You will be able to see blank, or empty ads at first. Only after your approval will you and your blog visitors see ads.

Your approval email can take hours or days to show up in your inbox. Mine was approved about 8 hours later. The email looked like this:

Your Google AdSense account has been fully activated - kaboomiscopy@gmail.com - Gmail 2015-01-13 19-26-55

Google Adsense is a great way to start monetizing your blog. It's simple, easy to set up, and best of all, it's FREE.

If you're reading this and you still haven't started your own blog, stop procrastinating, do it now by following my step-by-step guide today.

Here is a Second Way You Can Make Money Blogging in 2015 Affiliate Marketing

Affiliate marketing is a proven way to earn income online. I know firsthand, as that is what I do here on this website.

Anyone can do it (with a website), you just need to pick what service or product to affiliate with and then take the necessary steps.

Like any business, there are some positives and negatives to consider before jumping in.

Positives

You don't need to spends thousands of dollars in researching, testing and assembling your own products. Your only expense here is in the setup of a new website. If you already have a website or blog, then your investment will be purely the time spent on creating the web pages needed. If you have a limited budget, this probably sounds like a good option for you. You're right! This works well for someone wanting to generate a part time income or full time. That's up to you!

Another positive about being an affiliate marketer is that YOU get to choose the products or services that your website offers. You won't ever be forced to sell something from a business that doesn't align with your core values. You can find a sense of congruency in your life by only promoting products or services that align with your beliefs and personality.

Negatives

Naturally, a business opportunity with so may positives up front is going to be COMPETITIVE. This means you're going to need to be ready to run a marathon here before you see a significant income result. Like I said, once you pick your affiliates, you then need to take some steps to get things moving. You will need to get the word out about your website, attract people to it, and then, you must create a marketing funnel on your website that actually encourages people to buy what you're recommending. The knowledge to set up this process and execute it well takes some time and practice.

You will need to learn how to craft your words so they pull in readers and also figure out how to promote your blog.

Social media is an obvious tool to spread the word. There are more effective ways to using social media that you may need to learn, but its worth the time, because these social media platforms can connect with your target market quickly.

There is also the ins and outs of promoting your affiliates in ways that keep your own identity…you can lose yourself if you over-market your affiliates, and that's a real negative when you have your own products or services to offer also–books, courses, events, your own product invention, etc.

If you're strictly doing affiliate marketing, this may not be an issue for you.

How Much Money Can You Actually Make?

When asked this question, affiliate marketing expert Alan Roy Hocking gave this great answer on his website:

"The answer to the question; "How much can I earn affiliate marketing" is that there really is no limit to the amount of money you can earn.

In the last ten years more people have become millionaires through affiliate marketing than in any other industry and every day ordinary people just like you and me are learning how to tap into this incredible unlimited income source.

How hard you are willing to work and the niche you choose will determine how quickly you'll succeed and how much you will earn but remember this…..

One day, it could be you."

In other words, your income potential depends on you. That is great if you're motivated and self disciplined and want to learn new things. If you're not, well, your income will reflect that.

I recommend searching for some additional resources on affiliate marketing.

And one last thing to keep in mind…

Remember: you must have a website to succeed at affiliate marketing!

If you don't have a website set up yet, I can help you with that right now.

How to Manage Your Full-time Job and a Blog Successfully

launch a blog successfully with full time job

Tips to launch a blog successfully (while working full-time)

While many of us are happily blogging full-time, others are just getting started or have been struggling to sustain it while working a traditional job.

Growing a business while working a full-time job can be relatively easy, as long as you outsource a lot of the work. However, there are often tasks that only you can handle properly, depending on your market and your goals.

Let's look at some practical ways to launch a blog successfully while simultaneously working a full-time job.

Get Ahead Whenever Possible

I always try to do certain things in advance, even if I normally follow a strict to-do list.

This mainly includes getting small tasks out of the way, such as looking up title ideas or images for my next blog post. Other "easy" tasks may consist of answering emails or researching a potential new feature for the blog.

Try to work on minor things while watching your favorite TV shows, depending on how well you can concentrate and multi-task.

Obey Your Calendar or To-Do List

launch a blog successfully full time jobAs I said earlier, I tend to follow a routine as much as possible. However, life isn't always predictable. One day you may need to work late or take your kid to the doctor, among other unforeseen responsibilities.

That said, you should still have (at least) certain things written down in an editorial calendar or an ongoing to-do list.

Having your tasks written down will help keep you on track to a greater extent, as these would essentially hold you more accountable. This is perhaps one of the most overlooked ways to launch a blog successfully while managing other responsibilities.

Compromise

I know, I know… it's not always fun to deviate from the norm. You may be used to having lunch outdoors with your colleagues, or you probably enjoy three hours of TV after work…

The question is: How serious about blogging are you? Will this be merely a side business, or are you planning to live off of it in the future? If you're planning for the latter, then you already know where I'm going with this…

The beautiful thing about compromising is that, ironically, you have a lot of control and flexibility. You're not limiting yourself, but rather rearranging your schedule to suit your needs.

Can you cut back on TV by 30 minutes? Can you have lunch at your desk twice a week and work on the blog?

Case in point: Find a way to have your cake and eat it too. Your personal life doesn't need to suffer if you compromise just a little every now and then.

Play it Wisely

manage job and side businessYou may occasionally hear people say that you must publish frequently for your blog thrive. You may also be encouraged to join every social network under the sun.

None of this is necessarily true.

If your content is sufficiently helpful and the niche is relatively narrow, you can get away with posting new content once a week or even twice per month.

There are simply too many factors to consider, so a universal answer to "how frequently" you post doesn't necessarily fit everyone.

Maybe you send some content to your newsletter subscribers in between blog posts or spend a lot of time sharing your existing content, for example…

In such case(s), you are effectively keeping your audience equally engaged while gaining new followers, which definitely warrants the ability to publish less frequently.

Likewise, I suggest you only maintain one or two social networks at a time. Keeping your followers happy takes a lot of time and effort, as you need to do much more than merely posting links all day long.

Takeaway: Lessen or remove unnecessary things if you want to successfully manage a full-time job and your blog long-term.

Make Things Easier

Thankfully, we live in an era where much of our blogging work can be automated or streamlined in some way. Here are a few examples of things to consider:

Manage social media wisely: Use platforms like Hootsuite to schedule new updates on multiple networks, all at once. This is key to helping you launch a blog successfully, as your audience can ultimately make or break your success.

Even if you refuse to outsource most tasks, consider handing off certain things to help free up your schedule. These may include maintaining your social media accounts, or the creation of newsletter content. Fiverr and Freelancer are great places to find virtual assistants.

Adapt certain posts that take considerably less time to publish (click here for some great examples). While you shouldn't depend on these too much, it doesn't hurt to rely on them on occasion.

Do you run a membership site or sell a product? Publish a detailed FAQ page answering the most frequent questions to avoid receiving endless emails from interested readers.

Do you accept blog contributors? Provide detailed guidelines and allow registrations, thus enabling them to post new content themselves.

Set Boundaries

Being picky is perhaps the best way to manage your job and blog successfully.

Too many people emailing you about a sponsored post? Remember you don't always have to accept them, unless they are truly beneficial.

Your friends want you to socialize as much as you did during your teenage years? Satisfy them to some degree, but don't be afraid to decline their offers every now and then.

Friends and family are especially bad when it comes to questioning your online business, which is why so many people interrupt without a care. Again, don't ne afraid of setting some boundaries for a while, at least until your business becomes more sustainable.

Always Learn Something New

There is always a new way to accomplish blogging tasks more efficiently. For example, maybe you didn't know about scheduling posts or using image plugins to insert photos straight into your posts until recently…

Always look to learn something new, as this will help you manage the blog and your job much more effectively over time.

Your Turn

Are you looking to start your own blog and eventually quit the nine-to-five lifestyle? For those who have already succeeded, what did you do to launch a blog successfully while working? Let us know how you're doing so far in the comments section below.

Five Questions with Blogging the Boys: How to stop Dak Prescott?

Monday Night Football does not, sadly, have a song worthy of singing right now. That does not stop the Detroit Lions from playing on it, nor engaging with the Dallas Cowboys as the NFC window closes tighter and tighter. To catch up with Dallas, we spoke with Dave Halprin of Blogging The Boys to get the lowdown.

1. Well, thanks to the Eagles the Cowboys have locked up the division. We know injuries were plaguing this team last year, but what has been the roadmap the Cowboys have followed in their path back to taking the NFC East?

The Cowboys basic roadmap on offense has been follow the offensive line. They are the basis for everything that happens on offense for Dallas and they are among the best units in the league. It's no secret the Cowboys like to run the ball and they will use that to control the clock, move the chains and wear opposing defenses out. Once they draw a defense up, they will take their shots downfield. They complement that on the defensive side of the ball with a defense that doesn't give up too many big plays, is assignment-sound and a hustling bunch that tackles well. The defense makes the opposition really work for points by forcing long drives with plenty of plays, and plenty of opportunities for mistakes, penalties, turnovers or other drive-killers for the opposing offense. That's the Cowboys basic game plan.

2. I've been struggling to parse the excellence of Ezekiel Elliott. It's clear he's been absolutely special in his rookie year, but the Cowboys also hold one of the best offensive lines in the league. How much of Elliott's success is due to this offensive line, and how much is just him?

Ezekiel Elliott would be a special back behind any line, but the Cowboys line does make him better. It's impossible to draw a bold line between how much is Zeke and how much is the line. But Elliott has all the tools for a running back, great vision, acceleration, power to move the pile, good receiver out of the backfield and ability to pass protect with the best. He's gained patience as the season has progressed and has learned to slow down just a bit as the play develops in front of him, and then hit the hole or bounce it outside. What is surprising is how much of a power runner he can be, he almost never goes backward and almost always gains an extra yard or two at the end of the run.

3. Dak Prescott has been having himself a stellar season for a rookie quarterback, however we've seen a couple games where he's been put on the backfoot more than a few times. What areas of his game is he most deficient in right now?

The best defense against Dak seems to be when teams get him a little uncomfortable in the pocket and he'll use poor footwork or bad mechanics. He's a very accurate passer when he sets up without pressure, or when he's on the run. But sometimes in that middle area, when he's being pressured but isn't moving outside the pocket, he can use poor mechanics and become a little inaccurate. The key seems to be to pressure him, but don't let him get outside of the pocket. He also doesn't have the best touch downfield although that seems to have greatly improved as the season has progressed.

4. Name the most critical player on the Cowboys defense.

Easy - Sean Lee. He is having an unbelievable year and has been on the field for 100% of the Cowboys plays on defense this year. He was second in the league in tackles going into this week and has been unblockable at times. He's also very good in pass coverage so he never has to come off the field. The Cowboys are the number one defense in the league against the run and a huge reason why is Lee. He's also one of the smartest football players on the field to go along with his athleticism and instincts, he's the complete package.

5. Best place to get brisket in the DFW area, GO!

No idea, I don't live in the DFW area. Sorry!

(Writer's note: this part I've fielded to a few other writers and it feels very sad. Know your cities before they're gone from you, beloved. It's all we got as the world gets a little colder)

Travel blogging favorite memories of 2016! Blog & social media year in review.

travel blogger year review summary

Wow, 2016 went by fast! Can't believe it is already time for my annual year-end reflection. Let's whip out the "member-berries," and muse about my favorite moments of the past 12 months.

I traveled to 15 countries this year, a personal record that takes the grand total to about 60. I made it to some of my dream destinations (New Zealand, Istanbul, Myanmar) and appeared on TV shows for NBC and Travel Channel.

"Member" my 2015 summary? ("Yeah, I member.") Looking back, 2016 built upon those goals, and took everything up a few notches.

morbid anatomy museum queens ny

"Let's start at the very beginning / A very good place to start." Yukiro and I flew to NYC at the tail end of 2015, and celebrated New Years Eve with our friends, in full Gothic fabulosity. While in New York, we also made "field trips" to the Morbid Anatomy museum, Lovecraft bar, and more.

♥ New York City, NY – find all my adventures from over the years in the Big Apple.

chichen itza travel bloggers mexico

Next, we escaped the cold in Riviera Maya and Tulum, Mexico. Of course, we dove into the spooky side of Mexican culture: Day of the Dead skull art, and Mayan pyramids where human sacrifices took place.

♥  Mexico – see our stories here, along with more photos of Chichen Itza.

bela lugosi grave, celebrity graves

Soon after, I was honored to be invited to attend the World Tourism Forum. The journey began in Los Angeles,  where I reunited with friends and got my fangs on (rolling around Bela Lugosi's grave, and drinking blood wine at a vampire lounge and ball).

♥ Los Angeles, California – I've been blogging about LA's Goth and alternative scene for years, right here.

world tourism forum travel blogger istanbul

Then I flew to Istanbul, Turkey, and soared over the Sultanahmet district (the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia are beneath my wings). I've been longing to see "Constantinople" for years, and was happy that I reached this goal. With the world changing so quickly, it's more important than ever to travel now.

♥ All my Turkey (Istanbul) travel stories, focusing on the art and culture of the city.

david bowie memorial mural

We filmed with Brussels and Wallonia Tourism right after, capturing the art and carnival culture. This was right after the death of David Bowie, and two weeks before the Molenbeek terrorist attack…. Travel safely and intelligently, and do it while you can. Who knows when the zombie apocalypse will come.

See all my Brussels, Belgium blogs.

young female travel blog new zealand

Next, I got to hang out with Hobbits in New Zealand! Contiki Asia reached out to me, and I partnered with them on a showcase of their New Zealand North Island tour. What a magnificent country, filled with natural wonders like the mangrove trees of Paihia, and blue glowworms in the caves of Waitomo. And let's not forget my photoshoot in the Lord of the Rings movie set.

♥ Enjoy all my New Zealand (Auckland and North Island) adventures.

fashion blogger sydney bridge

Life is short, and you never know when you'll return somewhere, or have an opportunity window… With that in mind, I hopped over to Sydney, Australia for the first time. I only got a taste, but I'm keen to see more of Down Under.

miffy art parade figurines collectables

I applied this same philosophy to my next journey. I wrangled a 24 hour stopover in the Netherlands — which was enough for me to visit the Miffy Museum in Utrecht! I'm mad about the Dutch bunny, and this was my chance to "get my Miffy on."

It doesn't matter how nonsensical or bizarre your passions / interests / quests are. Make them happen, now.

boat ride lake bled, slovenia

I confess that Slovenia was never on my bucket list — but I'm all for saying Yes, and discovering something new. This little country turned out to be one of my favorite destinations of the year. My team and I fell in love with the creative food, kind locals, fairy tale castles…

♥ Read my guides to Surprising Slovenia (Ljubljana, Lake Bled, Portoroz).

goth stockholmm sweden

I've been to all the major European countries, but didn't make it to Scandinavia until this summer. (You can find my exact eyeball shirt here.)

Stockholm, Sweden is gorgeous during this time of year. I walked all throughout the capital, ducked into the Yayoi Kusama exhibition, and ate like a Viking. How I miss the local fish and caviar.

modern design museum helsinki

I rekindled my passion for minimal, modern architecture and design in Helsinki. My team and I loved the Eero Aarnio retrospective (he's the Finnish designer of the 1960s Ball Chair).

You can get the spiderweb jacket I'm wearing here, on sale.

depeche mode theme bar interior

We took the ferry to Tallinn, Estonia. Once again, we discovered gems in a country that most people know little about. There's a Depeche Mode bar and hipster art collectives, and a colorful restaurant culture.

super kilen cool park copenhagen

Finally, I strolled through the hip neighborhoods of Copenhagen, Denmark. This photo is taken in Superkilen Park — I came across a photo of the urban design years ago, and it was a joy to to see it with my own eyes.

♥ See all my Scandinavia and Nordic Europe posts here.

coolest temple shrine japan kyoto

In the fall, it was back to my old stompin' grounds: Japan. I had the opportunity to work with J Rail Pass, and ride the rails throughout the country (I made it to Tokyo, Kyoto, Kobe, Osaka and Koyasan in a week).

I always feel energised here, and loved catching up with my friends. I also got to try something new: a Buddhist temple stay in the mountains of Koya. I'll share this experience with you soon.

♥ All my travel tips about Tokyo and Japan are here. I hope you find them helpful for planning a trip.

nbc better late than never, william shatner

This year, I was also in some big travel TV shows. I hosted an episode for Travel Channel, and danced with Captain Kirk for NBC's Better Late Than Never!

holiday nail art, christmas penguin nails

In November / December, I returned to Hong Kong for a job with STAKK Factory, a new media site that specializes in fashion, travel and food videos. We shot a DIY nail art video about holiday nails, with much more to be released soon.

Finally, Yukiro and I flew to Yangon, Myanmar with HK Express. What an extraordinary country… I posted a few previews on my social media (@lacarmina), and the full story will come out early next year. Stay tuned — you don't want to miss this one.

miffy giant statue museum utrecht

Here's to friends, trying new things, and saying "yes" in 2017. As Yukiro wisely says, "Always go forward, but never straight!"

What were your favorite member-berries of the previous year? Do you have any bucket list destinations / goals for the New Year?

Blogging: Best Thing I̢۪ve Done as a Developer

Are you a developer? Are you building stuff? One of the best things that you could do is to start blogging.

Love what Sal Farrarello has to share in this 10-minute talk and he goes as far as saying it might be one of the best things he's done as a developer:

Love it. Make it a goal and priority this year! Obviously, I couldn't agree more with Sal!
