The actor took a walk down memory lane on Sunday when their film "Ram Jaane" completed 20 years since its release. He took to Twitter to express his views.
"You always look good. Wow so many years of 'Ram Jaane'. Thanks Rajiv, Anu, Juhi, Vivek, Punit, Saroj Khan and the team," Shah Rukh posted on Twitter.
The reaction came after Juhi shared a still of the 1995 film, directed by Rajiv Mehra, on the micro-blogging site with a caption that read: "What a pretty picture of me...I didn't know I looked that good."
The film narrated a story of a nameless boy who grows up to become a gangster and then falls in love.
Shah Rukh has shared screen space with Juhi in a number of films like "Darr", "Yes Boss", "Duplicate", "Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman" and "Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani" with "Bhoothnath" being the latest one.

And so I will get caught up with two blog posts today – and then will soon get back to finishing off my blogging through the classic series, which I finished rewatching a while back and just need to actually blog about.
The episode "Face the Raven" witnesses Doctor Who going full Harry Potter, with a secret street hidden from muggles – sorry, I mean humans – but accessible to wizards – sorry, I mean aliens. But this isn't a criticism – the same ideas have been recycled in human storytelling for a long, long time. And one interesting difference is that the street is not a place to buy a magic wand or a new pair of sonic sunglasses, but a refugee camp, where Ashildr has been overseeing the safety of aliens who are fleeing others, where they live disguised as humans.
Gavin Rumney said that he was looking forward to me blogging about the episode, since it features elements that can be compared to substitutionary atonement and the Protestant dichotomy between law and grace. While I often emphasize the need to dig deeper than surface-level Christ-figures, that doesn't mean that we ought not to notice such symbolism when it is present. In fact, it is interesting to compare Clara's action to save her student Rigsy to the way Jesus is depicted as approaching his impending death. We might ask whether Clara would have taken then quantum shade from Rigsy in order to save his life even if she had known it would mean her own death, and I imagine that the answer would be "yes." And that represents a marked contrast to Ashildr, who seems willing to allow Rigsy to die in order to preserve the stability of the society she oversees. One could also compare Clara's seeking to have the cup pass from her, and her eventual embracing of her fate, with Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane. And Clara's plea to the Doctor to not let this change him, to turn him once more into a warrior rather than a Doctor, might be compared to Jesus' words asking God to forgive those who were executing him, as found in some manuscripts of the Gospel of Luke.
Of course, things are not as they seem. Rigsy had not killed someone, and it was a set-up to draw the Doctor in. In a similar way, Clara had taken the quantum shade tattoo from Rigsy not as an act of self-sacrifice but as an attempt to move events in a particular direction. And so what we see is less an example of noble self-sacrifice, and more the tragedy that comes about when people create a plan for how to bring about a particular end, and fail to take into account the unpredictability of what other free agents have done or will do. And so, if one is inclined to relate the episode to theology at all, perhaps it works best as an indictment of the idea that God and other forces are manipulating events for their own ends, with each tragedy part of a greater purpos e. (See the recent post at Geekdom House for an example from the experience of a DM trying to get players to have a particular kind of adventure experience in an RPG.)
In other words, if you're looking for a theological point in the episode, perhaps it is to not depict God as like Ashildr. Clara is a better model, whether for God or the ethical human being – one who doesn't know everything and cannot control everything, and who is confident but cannot be certain that things can be fixed and a positive outcome achieved, but who will risk their own death rather than allow someone else to be killed unjustly.
The focus on maps in the episode is a nice symbol of the points made above – it is risky to try to see everything, and even then, there are things that are hidden from view. But even if we manage to spot those hidden things, there is still no realistic way to understand everything that is happening, much less control it. Map is not Territory.
What did you think of "Face the Raven"?
I plan to blog about "Heaven Sent" later today. And see too the article in which Mark Gatiss talks about getting his moral code from Doctor Who.

Shortly after it was announced yesterday that Modi had invited Congress president Sonia Gandhi and his immediate predecessor in the prime minister's office, Manmohan Singh, for discussions over tea, Rahul Gandhi had said that the government had been forced to take such a step."This meeting is happening after public pressure. This is not the way he functions," the Congress Vice President had said.
Hopes of a thaw on the GST Bill emerged last night with the prime minister reaching out to the Congress leadership, which is to discuss the government's response to its three objections vis-a-vis the measure. The tea invitation yesterday was the first direct outreach by Modi to the principal opposition ever since he came to power last year and is being seen as part of an attempt by the prime minister to ensure smooth functioning of Parliament during Winter session. Modi had invited Singh and the Congress chief for tea at his residence here where the discussions covered issues pending before Parliament, particularly the large number of Bills that have accumulated over the past two sessions

Bart Ehrman shared his thoughts about the session, in which he was a panelist. And Tony Burke shared his perspective, having been in the audience. It should not be allowed to go unnoticed that blogging led these scholars to be involved in a session about blogging at the biggest conference in their field, which they have now in turn blogged about.
The most controversial element in the session was the fact that all three panelists advised grad students and pre-tenure faculty not to blog. But someone who is in one of those categories shared from the audience what happened when he deleted his blog on the advice of a faculty member at the institution where he is a student: now most mentions of his name online are from mythicists who have created shrines of hate towards him on their blogs! I would give the opposite advice, first and foremost because everyone growing up today has an internet footprint, and so you are better off adding something that may rank highly and give a good impression, than to allow the top hits to be your instagram photos from your teens. Of course, to achieve this one must create a blog that is characterized by maturity rather than rancor. I also get a sense that the attitude towards this is different at liberal arts and theaching-focused universities vs. research-focused ones. At the former, we have emb raced a paradigm shift which focuses on students not just obtaining knowledge from authoritative sources, but becoming knowledge-producers themselves. In addition to blogs as part of coursework, we often have students assemble an online portfolio to highlight their work for future employers. It may take a few years, but I suspect that soon we will be able to learn from employers' hiring data whether students with a professional-looking online presence, or those who have cautiously avoided being visible online, have the greater advantage in the job market.

Since expert knowledge is required it follows that becoming an authority isn't easy, and usually involves many years of learning and building a reputation. For someone who's involved and interested in a niche, it is definitely possible with some time and hard work. – From HIT Virtual Blog, Why you should aspire to become a thought leader in your niche.
There are many ways to become an authority in your niche. And the best reason is so you will be the go-to person when someone has a need. If you are a blogging expert and the first person thought of when a blogging advice is needed, your client funnel will be overflowing and you will have ample opportunities to grow your reputation. Public speaking and networking at live events are two well know methods used to become an authority. However, if you are more comfortable writing than speaking or hosting live events, it is possible to become a recognized authority through writing.
One way is to write and maintain a blog. According to a study by BlogHer, 81% of U.S. online consumers trust information and advice from blogs. By creating a professional blog that provides the information your target audience is seeking, you establish yourself as the thought leader for your niche. Remember these two keys when creating your authority blog: provide great content on a consistent schedule and promote each post. All your content must be of the highest quality or otherwise people won't want to follow you. If you produce inferior content, it will actually be counter-productive to your goal of establishing your credibility. Pick a schedule for posting, whether it be once a week or bi-weekly and stick to it. This way your audience will know when they expect more information from you. If you're not sure how to promote your blog, you can download my special report (free).
Another excellent authority-boosting tactic is writing a book. Not just any book though, but a real, hardcopy publication with the goal of becoming one of the most popular and authoritative works in your niche. Being published is an instant credibility booster, and is more attainable than you may think by using self publishing.
Another great way to become a thought leader is writing blog posts and articles for other websites and magazines. Getting your article published in a popular niche magazine will give you instant recognition, and it also tends to lead to new opportunities. Write a well-received article for a site or magazine, and you'll find that others come knocking, begging you to write for them as well.
These are just a few of the things you could do if you want to write your way to an authority position in your field. It's all about putting in the work and not giving up because you aren't seeing immediate results. If you keep writing and publishing useful information people will start noticing you!

They decided they wanted to retire in their early 30s and live in rural Vermont, where they could pursue their hobbies and interests (writing for her, woodworking and welding for him).
"We came to the realization that we'd essentially 'made it' as adults – we'd followed the normal, proscribed trajectory of going to college, earning good grades, getting internships and landing professional jobs," says Mrs. Frugalwoods (U.S. News agreed to use their pseudonyms to retain their anonymity, which they say they need to protect their jobs).
Mr. and Mrs. Frugalwoods
But, there was a dark side to that outward success. "We were unfulfilled by how we were required to spend the majority of our time each week. Almost all our creative energy and best ideas were funneled into doing work for our employers – not into endeavors that we find personally rewarding," she says. They didn't want to wake up 40 years later and feel like they'd wasted their lives on the office treadmill.
Last year, they made the radical choice to start saving around 70 percent of their income. They cut out most luxuries and decided to blog about the experience, sharing their journey with a growing number of readers on their website Frugalwoods.com. They plan to use their savings to purchase a rural homestead with around 40 acres of land in Vermont and live in the woods in 2017, when they are both 33.
"We love hiking and spending time together in nature. … We simultaneously agreed we'd live a simpler life in the woods," says Mrs. Frugalwoods, now 31. To save enough to turn that plan into a reality, the couple started eating every meal at home, stopped buying new clothes and handled household repairs and housework on their own.
"My favorite part of frugality is optimizing our expenses so we spend strategically. I love tracking quantitative data, designing experiments and then evaluating results," says Mr. Frugalwoods, who's also handy when it comes to DIY projects around the house.
While they are still on track to retire in less than two years (the couple is currently shopping around for the homestead of their dreams), they're also planning for a big change: They are expecting their first baby, a daughter, any day now. They plan to apply the same frugal mindset to parenting. "It's a whole new opportunity and path to figure out. You can frugalize anything in life," even bringing home babies, Mrs. Frugalwoods says. So far, she says, she has spent just $20 preparing her daughter's nursery, a feat she accomplished by making good use of hand-me-downs.
The mom-to-be adds that even while living in the high-cost city of Cambridge, Massachusetts, the couple found a way to live on just $13,000 last year. "We will bring that same mindfulness to child-rearing," she says. She and her husband haven't yet decided about child care, which is usually one of the biggest expenses for new parents, but as soon as they figure that part out, they will share the details on their blog.
She does know, however, that living frugally doesn't mean giving up all expenditures and pleasures. "Our goal is not to save every penny, but to create a life that we enjoy living. If [our daughter] wants to do ballet class three times a week, we'll work it out," she says.
For those looking to follow in the Frugalwoods' footsteps, they suggest first tracking your money. "It's so important to know where your money is going," Mrs. Frugalwoods says. That means tracking everything from food purchases to coffee, and then figuring out what you can give up. Free personal finance tools such as Personal Capital or Mint can help.
When looking at what to cut, the couple suggests considering what you can do yourself. For instance, they save hundreds of dollars a year cutting each other's hair, which they admit some people might find odd. "For us, it's a win-win. It takes much less time to cut hair at home than it does to trek to the salon. Plus, when your husband is your hairdresser, you develop a very special bond," she says. She adds that the couple's frugality has brought them closer in other ways, too. "We're more focused on one another and on the strength of our relationship than we are on external consumption."
The frugal duo also suggests some more traditional frugal hacks: Make all your own lunches during the week, and do so on Sunday so you don't get tired halfway through the week and give into the temptation to buy lunch. Get rid of cable, switch to a low-cost cellphone provider and buy as many used products as possible. "Anytime you need something, check the used market first. Between Craigslist, thrift stores and garage sales, someone is almost always selling what you need for far less than the sticker price," Mrs. Frugalwoods says.
Those choices are what will allow the blogging couple to say goodbye to the stress of office and city life in 2017 and retire to their soon-to-be purchased Vermont homestead. Once they make the move, they will quit their day jobs (he works as a software engineer and she works in communications), but their income won't plummet to zero: The couple plans to rent out their Cambridge home for income, and they might continue to take freelance work online or run a Airbnb rental on their property. They plan to spend their days raising their family as well as woodworking, welding, gardening, practicing yoga, writing and giving back to their new community.
That's when all these years of frugal living will really pay off.

warning: spoilers!
The Doctor and Clara go to Diagon Alley, where Clara gets reckless again. Fatally so, this time.
I feel nothing.
I know, I know. This is supposed to be so very moving:
And so is:
And yet not even the tiniest, flimsiest of my heartstrings was tugged.
At least the Way Cool Ideas here — a tattoo that counts down; the telepathic light; a quantum shade — were actually integrated into the story.
But it's tough to feel bad about losing Clara when I don't feel like I ever really knew her at all. She was a convenient spear-carrier whose behavior always seems to have been dictated by the needs of a story, and hasn't been the result of a semblance of a realistic human being behaving in a way that came naturally to her.
There is one thing I do feel right now: I feel as if Clara has been punished for actually enjoying traveling with the Doctor and wasn't afraid or humbled enough by the danger. If only she hadn't actually gotten a kick of stuff like this:
She might still be alive.
Ashildr turned out more interesting this time.
Neither good nor evil, just opportunistic. But I guess we won't be seeing her again for a while, what with the Doctor warning her to stay out of his way…
Random thoughts on "Face the Raven":
• So trap streets are a Thing now.
Any cartographer who actually created a trap street wasn't actually creating a trap street? He or she was fooled as well? Not sure how that's supposed to work…
• I guess it's the telepathic light that is making us interpret this space as Diagon Alley?
That's what we'd expect a secret street in London to look like? Yup, that must be it.

The last bubble and subsequent recession were caused when Wall Street took on huge amounts of cheap debt. This debt, as it was repaid, was meant to pay off many times over. But the reality of the situation was much different. I n many cases, the debt was put on the back of private individuals who couldn't handle it, who shouldn't have been offered a loan in the first place. They defaulted en masse and -- among many other factors -- it caused the bubble to pop. Debt is only worth something if it gets paid back, plus interest. In 2008 the whole house of cards collapsed. Massive firms like Lehman Brothers went under and a lot of money just disappeared.
The 'Brittle' 2015 Global Market
Things are different this time around and Wall Street isn't on the hook. In an attempt to stabilize global markets following the last recession, borrowing has been made extremely cheap in developed economies like the United States. Economists thought this would shock the heartbeat of the pre-Crash economy back to life, but the U.S. was never able to wean borrowers off of ultra low rates. Investors of all sizes have been snapping up this cheap debt for several years now, causing many to worry that these are exactly th e same conditions that caused the 2008 crash.
There are other global factors which make this scenario different from that of 2008. This time, Wall Street isn't the one holding all of this cheap debt. This time it's spread all around the world, in companies, private investors and world governments. Many of the nations involved are so-called "developing" economies, which have been using cheap borrowing to fund expansion.
What Does This Mean for You?
Feel free to frolic down the personal finance blog rabbit hole to better understand what's happening and why. But for now, let's move our attention from the problem to what you should do if something should hit the fan.
If international finance projections continue to be hysterical and grim, stick with a plan like the one outlined here.

We are going to discuss one fact that most people do not realize: blogs can be used as highly effective educational tools. They will offer a complete freedom for individuals to publish web content and will make a classroom a lot better than it is.
However, this can only happen if blogging is properly utilized. Everything starts with choosing web builder tutorials and platform. Based on most professionals, starting a blog is easier with WordPress so this is what you want to use. Then, you want to think about the following tips to make blogging a huge part of the classroom.
Offer Expectations and Guidelines
It is really important that clear expectations and guidelines are set so that the student can know what to expect. As an example, you may not allow students to use their photos on a blog page. You may force the student to get a written permission from one of the parents in order to allow a blog to be open. All the guidelines can be updated and published on a main class blog. That leads by example and allows the parents and students to see important information about what is to be done.
Integrate The Classroom Curriculum Into Blogging
You can easily use blogging all across the classroom's curriculum. For all topics from history to science, blogging can take complete literacy.
Improving Writing Skills
One of the big parts of blogging is, of course, writing. As a blogger you need knowledge about the subject you blog about and proper writing skills. This is true even if you use blogging in a math class. Besides talking about blogging and teaching your subject, you have to teach grammar and writing. In many situations you can get away with it when you allow 10 minutes per class to cover an important writing related point. That would make the student a better writer and blogging would be even more efficient in the classroom.
Discussing And Encouraging Commenting
One of the disregarded but highly important parts of any blog is the comments section. You want to encourage your students to learn how to properly comment and how to properly respond to comments. In this case you can lead by example. Have a blog with a couple of posts on it and make the students comment based on the offered criteria. Always provide feedback about how the student manages his own comments section so that a better experience can be created.
Always Be Realistic
It is not easy to build a blog. This is something that you have to take into account. The goals and deadlines need to be small. As an example, one class can be started off by a focus on a topic where a student would contribute to a post while under supervision. Always choose a subject that brings in passion from the student. As an example, you can encourage building a blog that talks about endangered species or about healthy eating. When you have a classroom blog, you can always take everything one topic at a time. Students have to build skills and this only happens when they are passionate about what they write.
Encourage Subscriptions To Other Blogs
You want to read other student and classroom blogs. This would encourage commenting and would offer great examples of a blog that is finished and suitable. It can also give you some ideas about what to write about. In fact, professionals often read other blogs in order to get new topic ideas.
Always Stay Consistent
Studies show that the future of real estate is bright but only for those agents that remain consistent. Blogging is exactly the same. You cannot expect to have a lot of traffic on a blog if you are not consistent. You want people that come back and if there are no new posts to see every time they visit, there is no reason for them to come back.
In blogging you have to keep expanding and building. The start should be around 1 or 2 posts per week. Blog submission can be increased gradually when the students become more comfortable with what is to be done.
Avoid Plagiarism At All Costs
Most students do not know much about plagiarism and do not understand why it is a bad thing. You have to explain this as a teacher. It is vital that a student would only contribute his/her own work. This includes images. Copyright free images are always a necessity. Do monitor plagiarism and openly talk about it. Focus on the fact that the student will not learn anything through classroom blogging if plagiarism appears.
Blogger Networking Should Be Encouraged
You should always encourage global and local collaboration. This is done by allowing students and encouraging them to follow other bloggers and student blogs. Keep in mind that it is a really good idea to allow the student to choose what blog to follow but a set criteria list should be added in order to aid with this selection.
Do Not Forget About Social Media
Initially, blogs were a part of social networks. Nowadays, they are not always connected with running and maintaining a blog. This is a mistake that many make. You want to always increase classroom blog membership by using social media websites like Twitter, Pinterest and Facebook. With this particular part of the promotion, word of mouth stands out as the most effective promotion method.
Encourage Patience
Blogging is new in the classroom environment. As with all the new ventures, a learning curve exists. You need to create a number of blogs while monitoring the classroom. However, there is a strong possibility that the students will really enjoy blogging so patience should not be a huge problem.
Traditional classrooms are changing all around the world. Since most future careers will require really strong computer skills, it is a good idea to use classroom blogging. Just make sure that blogging is fun and creative. Freedom should be available while taking into account everything else mentioned above.
