Avoided 7 Pizza's & pop, husband (Coach) brought home from his awards banquet. Carried around a 3x5 card and every time my husband and/or adult son warmed it up to eat it ~ I read out loud - "the victory is mine - I can have the pizza anytime and I have had a ton in the past, I choose not to have it at this time" and looked at pictures of clothes I can't wait to wear!
Adult son brought home and baked Pillsbury Cinnabon Cinnamon Rolls. I told him to take them upstairs to his room immediately or they will be flushed. He ran. I ate a peice of toast sprinkled with cinnamon - totally satisfying! The second time he did it. I told him to take them to his room o r I will hike down the road to the big trash can. Again he took all of them upstairs. I enjoyed hot tea with a cinnamon stick. Again, satisfying.
Husband forgot to take some cookies to work. I put them in ziplock baggie and threw them up a tree outside. Later my husband got a ladder, ate some and took the rest to his car.
Drinking more water daily 12 to 16 glasses (I used to only drink diet Pepsi, then switched to diet Shasta cola, drank diet pop all day/night long, no water at all).
Came up with 7 daily disciplines ~ if I do these, it will cause me to reach my goals.Discovered I'm short enough to workout my thighs to the point of exhaustion in the hot tub.Tracking fasting blood sugar everydayTook the time to add food into Sparkpeople with my phone app - scanningBlog short cut cooking so others might benefitMake a commitment to myself to spend time everyday on SP tracking, talking, learningLost 15 pounds so far (started with 167 to lose)Doing new member challenge a nd diabetic challengePrinted pictures of clothes I can't wait to wear.
Shared with husband & adult son that lives with us (he's moving in 2 weeks) that they can support me by NOT bringing home any chips unless they have cheese on them (I don't like cheese except mozzarella). All cookies with peanut butter (I don't like peanut butter) so cookies, ice cream etc must have peanut butter. NO french bread or rolls ~ yes to oat bread because it is not tempting (I used to eat the entire loaf of french bread with butter on every piece - no kidding - I've done it many times).
