Kick Off #BlogHer16 on Thursday With HelloFlo & a "Wine & Gyn" Conversation

The announcements keep coming, and today I'm excited to let you know about a special kick-off conversation called Wine & Gyn that we'll be holding on Thursday afternoon right before the Evening at the Expo at #BlogHer16.

As one part of the title indicates: We're planning a frank, funny, interactive conversation about something affecting our health (and that our health affects) that we all probably care about but may not talk about: Sex. As the other part of the title indicates, there will be wine served. :)

So why Wine & Gyn, and what will be involved? As some of you may know SheKnows Media acquired HelloFlo this year. HelloFlo, founded by Naama Bloom (now a SheKnows Media Sr. VP), was created with a mission to normalize conversations about girls' and women's health at every life stage, from the first period to menopause.

Naama will be joined by two experts ... OBGYN Dr. Jessica Shepherd and author/therapist Sarah Brokaw to talk about our bodies, our minds, and our sex lives.

I checked out the topic list, and I may have blushed just a tiny bit (but that's probably why I should attend). I also discovered that there is something almost every woman *under* 35 does that older woman (like me) are SHOCKED to hear.

And now I feel like I've BuzzFed the heck out of this description, but too bad ... you will indeed need to come to find out what shocking! information! was revealed!

The #BlogHer conference had its first (of several) panel on sex/erotic blogging back in 2006 (anyone remember it?), and there are legends about the long lines to be found at the various adult products exhibitors we've hosted over the years.
