Shane Warne took to the micro-blogging site to share the "best batsmen" list of most difficult cricketers he had bowled to. The legendary Australian leg-spinner put Sachin Tendulkar right on top of that list.
The 46-year-old took 708 wickets in 145 Test matches while his ODI figures reflected a sum total of 293 wickets in 194 International matches. His record stood second to Sri Lankan off-spinner Muttiah Muralitharan who led with 800 wickets in 133 Test matches.
The Aussie had a number of contests with India's greatest batsmen of all time, as he maintained that when he included his name in the list of challenging batsmen. Warne posted on twitter, "Wasn't easy as there was so many wonderful players. Will also tell you who I enjoyed bowling to the most too hahah."
Warne would also take questions on Twitter. His other post read, "Join me to today on Facebook live at 215pm UK time for more on the best batsmen I played against, plus who I enjoyed bowling too !#Askshane."
Warne listed ten players on the list. Topping the list was Sachin Tendulkar from India, as Graham Gooch from England ranked second. The Third and fourth batsmen were former South African captain Hansie Cronje and all-rounder Jacques Kallis. Shahid Anwar, the Pakistan opener, was at number five. Brian Lara from West Indies, Aravinda De Silva from Sri Lanka, David Houghton from Zimbabwe, Mohammad Ashraful from Bangladesh, and late New Zealand batsman Martin Crowe formed the other names on that list.
