Sanders: Not 'impossible' to topple Clinton in Democratic race

In fact, much of the solidarity for Sanders' campaign has reportedly been built online, with supporters using social media and micro-blogging sites like Facebook, Twitter and Reddit to spread information generally missing from major news feeds.

Additionally, with the billionaire businessman looking increasingly likely to be the GOP nominee, the Clinton campaign sees an opportunity to expand beyond this map, said the official, who wasn't authorized to discuss internal plans and wouldn't specify which new battleground states the campaign might initially target. Aides are working under the assumption that Republican front-runner Donald Trump will be her opponent.

Despite her lead, Sanders says he plans to compete through the remainder of the primary contests in May and June.

Ironically, dropping out now will likely give Bernie more of a chance of making that happen.

Immigration was a key theme when Cruz was campaigning in the state last week, holding rallies in Frederick and Towson.

There's the Trump who has no qualms about advancing women within his business enterprises, the Trump who disparages women just because "I can say whatever comes to mind", and the retrograde Trump who never outgrew an adolescent fixation with desirable and attractive women, Renshon said. "It's one of the reasons he can't win a general election".

"Knowing what you know now, who do you think will be the next president?" It takes 2,383 to win.

Clinton was the Secretary of State in the first term of the Obama Administration.

What that approach would exclude, however, is the high dramatics of demands, concessions, surrender, and conquest that Sanders's current trajectory suggests - not to mention the certainty of a divisive convention and the possibility of serious damage to the Democratic ticket.

Sanders spoke from West Virginia shortly after Maryland's results came in. This authenticity, moreover, is frequently contrasted with the hollow, compromised, and numb "centrism" that Hillary Clinton is supposed to represent, attributable to corruption or timidity.

So by "the woman's card" Trump meant that Clinton's gender let her pick up support she otherwise wouldn't have. OK.

"Donald Trump contributed seven times to Hillary Clinton".

So while a Clinton nomination is all but certain at this point, it's up to her and her campaign advisors to determine how and when that comes to fruition.

An all-but-settled Democratic race also allows Clinton to raise money and cut primary spending on ads.

Cruz later acknowledged Trump's sweep of five Northeastern states on Tuesday, adding that the developer and Clinton "view IN as fly-over territory". An additional $35 million is being reserved for digital ads aimed at bolstering Clinton's coalition of black, Latino and younger voters.

"It is hard", Sanders said of his chances at the nomination. But he proceeded to make the argument that superdelegates from states he won should back him.

Granted, Hillary Cliinton came very close: The Washington Post pegs her campaign spending at almost $165 million.

"His (Trump) talk about pulling out of North Atlantic Treaty Organisation, his talk about letting other countries have nuclear weapons, which runs counter to 70 years of bipartisan national security policy, his idea that he - quote - "has a secret plan" to get rid of ISIS and he's not going to tell anybody, I find it disturbing because I know that the stakes are high, that we face some real challenges and dangers in the world", she said. "It's our job to turn that outrage into votes".

Andy Furillo: No Stephen Curry, no problem for the WarriorsDraymond Green had his first triple-double of the postseason, notching up 23 points, 13 rebounds, 11 assists, 3 blocks and steal. Curry has a sprained right MCL and was originally diagnosed to be out for two weeks or about another week before he can return.
