Mumbai: Bollywood Shahrukh Khan got nostalgic as 'Chak De! India' completed 8 years, took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and thanked the filmmaker and director of film including its crew on the occasion. Not only his fans, but also filmmaker Hansal Mehta remembered the film.He wrote, "8 years of #ChakDeIndia is a reminder to @iamsrk that he is a fine actor and we need to see the actor challenge the star more often." Well, the tweet kind of did not go well with King Khan as he replied to the 'City Lights' filmmaker saying, "@mehtahansal why challenge, the star sir, let him coexist with the actor. They both r a part of me....I kinda like them equally."
With SRK like of getting offended with Hansal Mehta's tweet, his fans too hit Hansal for his tweet. Before it became all the more problematic for the filmmaker, he made it clear that he missed seeing SRK in similar characters .
Mehta tweeted, "Many fans of @iamsrk have taken umbrage to my tweet. I'm as much a fan as them. But I miss him doing more characters like #ChakDeIndia."
Seems like Hansal will have to think twice before posting something which might not go well with the superstar!
